Vinedem Documentation

This is the Vinedem user manual, the platform for running your electronics repair shop. It is organized feature by feature: read it end to end or jump to the section you need from the index on the left. From the index options menu you can download the full manual as Markdown or PDF.

Manual chapters

  • 1. Getting startedWelcome to Vinedem, the all-in-one platform for running your electronics repair shop: repairs, customers, inventory, sales and payments in one place. This first part walks you through creating your account, getting to know the interface, and understanding what each member of your team can do.
  • 2. DashboardThe Dashboard is the Home screen: the first thing you see when you enter. It gathers the shop's key numbers, an income chart, recent activity and the day's cash close. It is your daily summary of how the business is doing.
  • 3. RepairsRepairs is the heart of Vinedem. Every device that comes into the shop is recorded as a repair: who the customer is, what device they brought, what the fault is, the diagnosis, the quote, the parts used, the payment method and the stage it is in. From the list you track every order and with one click you generate the receipt for the customer.
  • 4. Products and inventoryIn Products you manage your inventory: parts, accessories and devices. You control stock, buy and sell prices, photos, and you get alerts when something is about to run out. Stock is deducted automatically when you use a product in a repair or sell it.
  • 5. SalesIn Sales you record product sales: you pick the items, apply discounts or surcharges, set the payment method (even in installments or with a trade-in) and generate the receipt. Every sale deducts product stock and, if part of it stays on store credit, generates the customer's debt.
  • 6. Debts (store credit)In Debts you keep each customer's store credit: how much they owe you, what payments they made and what balance remains. You record partial or full payments, set up installment plans and even send the customer a statement by email.
  • 7. Customers and providersVinedem keeps a contact directory split in two: Customers (who you repair for or sell to) and Providers (who you buy from). Each contact stores its full history: repairs, sales and store credit.
  • 8. CatalogsThe catalogs are the lists you use over and over when creating works and sales: the services you offer, the states a repair goes through, the device brands, and the product types. Keeping them well set up makes loading everything else much faster. The Owner and Administrators find them in Administration, inside "Catalogs". A Member sees Services, States and Brands inside "Catalogs" in the menu.
  • 9. ExpensesIn Expenses you record what the shop spends: rent, salaries, parts purchases, operating costs and so on. Added to sales and repairs, expenses give you the real result of the business, which you see reflected on the dashboard (Part 2).
  • 10. SettingsIn Settings you manage your personal account: My details, Security and Sessions. You find them in the sidebar’s Settings group and in your avatar menu. Your business and team pages (Business, Team, Plan and billing and Activity) live in the Administration group. Members see only Team, Business and Plan and billing there, without being able to change anything; they are explained in this part too because they share screens.
  • 11. Plans and limitsVinedem runs on different plans. Each one enables more features and higher limits. You change plan whenever you want from Billing.
  • 12. Phone chargingIf you have a generator and you charge your customers’ phones, Phone charging is the section for it. This is not a repair: the phone comes in, it charges, it goes back, sometimes on the same day.
  • 13. Tips and frequently asked questionsA wrap-up with tricks that make your day faster and answers to the most common questions.
